Inline filters cartridges candles – Sediment Filter made in two layers. 1. Polypropylene 2. Sediment cloths both end air tight rubber sealed caped. Polypropylene is resistant to the growth of bacteria. The filter captures suspended matter such as sand, silt, loose scale, clay, or organic material from the water and supplies clean water to the membrane. The UV Lamp will be effective only if the supplied water will be crystal clear else the lamp light will not be able to penetrate/deactivate DNA of the microbes. Activated carbon block candle dia almost 1 inch that ensures the water flows 100% through the carbon. The carbon iodine value is 1000 IV. Activated carbon block filter absorbs harmful chemicals, pesticides, iodine, chlorine from water up to 99.9%, removes odour, smell and enhances water taste. Due to high absorption rate of chlorine and iodine, the TFC membrane life increases and gives best result. Please Note activated carbon is made on very high temperature and by passing esteem pressure and therefore the activated carbon filter does not release black water initially but other carbon filter does. Always use in final stage of purification. Please Note always use right technology of membrane according to water hardness. The available membranes are NF Membrane with 40%/60% rejection rate and RO membrane with 90% to 97% rejection rate and pore size varies from 0.001 micron to 0.0001 micron. The membrane eliminates all germs with great success and flushes them through rejected water. Get rid from TDS adjuster technology that allows impurities into drinking water.

KNL Sediment candle (Pore size 5 micron absolute): captures clay, silt, sand, loose scale and other impurities. The filter made from polypropylene and fine sediment cloths, first layer polypropylene & upper layer fine sediment cloths. The filter properly sealed inside in manner so that the water bound to pass only after proper filtration and then goes to the remaining filters.
KNL Activated Block Carbon: compressed block carbon filter of 1000 iodine value, having very high absorption rate of harmful chemicals compare to normal carbon filter. The filter absorbs chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, toxic element, and harmful chemicals from water. Chlorine free water enhances tfc membrane life too.
Specifications of these three filters: Service life 10,000 ltrs, Maximum Flow rate 1 GPM, operative temperature under 100° F, built in ABS / Food grade plastic and both end properly rubber sealed air tight pack that keeps the cartridges safe from moisture/damages. Packet includes 6 pushfit elbows with lock ring free.
These three cartridges / filters / candles sets are of standard size in 10 inches and fits in almost all kind of water purifier. But in few cases it may differ and therefore users are requested to check the cabinet space and filter shape before purchasing. But these cartridges usually fit in almost cases.
The two filters/cartridges made from ABS/Food grade plastic with superb finishing and performs well due to high absorption of impurities from water. The activated carbon block filter supplies impurities free water to the membrane filter and therefore the membrane life increases.

The service life of sediment and Activated block carbon depends on Prefilter quality used. If the poor quality or loose spun filter fitted in prefilter will allow particles and those will get captured by sediment, will lead early clogging of sediment filter.
